MOTHERS DAY AND A SALE

Our store wide Mothers day sale starts May 1st.  We will be offering 10% off any item that would be a gift for your Mom.  There has been a tremendous amount of fun things that have come into the shop.  You will need to come in and check it out for yourself.   Here are a few pictures to get you motivated.

One month from today

Mothers day will be here in one month and a day.  What will you get your mom?  We just might have some ideas for you.  Our cases are filled with beautiful vintage jewelry and scattered throughout the shop are amazing one of kind pretty things that all of our moms love.  How about yard art or books that have amazing illustrations of birds and nature.  Garden books and fun cooking items may be fun that remind her of something her grandmother had when she was growing up.  If you need some guidance, we are friendly and helpful and will try to find the right gift for you.

Is it spring yet?

We had a great Easter sale and now we are getting ready for Mothers Day.  Before we all know it, the first of May will be here.  Back to Easter though.  All of our customers loved picking an easter egg out of the basket and finding a message or a piece of candy hidden inside.  The message  provided a discount to the purchaser and gave them a little added bonus for the treasure they brought up to the counter.  Who dosen't love a good bargain.   We will definetly do this again next year. I have to mention that after a long week of working in the shop and the very dreary weather we have been recieving I had a wonderful treat on Friday when my mothers cousin from Coeur d' Alene Idaho and her family came in the shop and completely surprised me with a visit.  It brighten my day up so much and as a weird coincidence my two college age daughters just happen to appear at the same time which have never met this part of our family.  Life has it's unanounced blessings from time to time that are indeed what makes life so special.  I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to my relatives who took time out of their day to make the journey into the antque mall.   Now, Mothers Day.  I know what you're thinking, didn't we just finish up with Easter. Well, yes but Mothers Day is just around the corner and if you want to find a great and unusual gift for your Mom then you need to come in to our shop.  Just a reminder that May 9th is the special day.  Sandie and I have already transformed the windows (still in progress as of today) and pictures will be on this blog by weeks end.  So stand by.  Thanks for reading and get yourself into the shop.  See you around.  

Easter Sale March 29 - April 3rd

Okay even though we had one of our windows broken out very late Saturday night by someone who just had to get their anger out on something and thought Oh, maybe I will just put my fist through thick glass of a fifteen by fifteen foot store front window and see how that feels and set off the alarm and run like (blank).  Yes, we have a hole about 24 inches in diameter with cracks all the way through.  Jeff and Sandie were woken up by the Hillsaboro police at 2:00 a.m. to come down and board it up.  Given all of this we are still having our fabulous Easter sale.  It will be something different, because we just can not do anything normal.  We have come up with this fun idea for customers to pick an egg out of a basket to find a prize inside.  The prize could be a 5 10 or 15% off your purchase or maybe something free to find in the shop.  For more fun there will be paper shaped eggs with special prices through out the mall.  Our awesome dealers have been hunting for you and have brought some new items into the shop.  Come in soon.  Our sale starts March 29th and lasts for almost a whole week until April 3rd, that would be the Saturday before Easter.
